Melissa C. Fedosh OTR, RYT

I have been an Occupational Therapist for over 17 years and a yoga teacher for over 7 year. I am currently employed at Bedminster School District and have worked in many public and private schools such as: Bound Brook School District, Morris-Union Jointure Commission, Summit Speech School, Cranford Public Schools, Millburn Public Schools, Scotch Plains / Fanwood Public Schools, Therapeutic Rehabilitation Services and Union & Somerset County Educational Services Commissions.

Throughout my career, I attended many training courses and workshops on: Sensory Integration, NDT, Handwriting, Respiration & Breathing, Kinesiotaping, Listening Program, Vision Screenings/Therapy and Children’s Yoga, and she is currently a certified yoga teacher. I presented a one-half day in-service to the teachers at the UCESC on Fine Motor Development and Sensory Integration and 2 one-half day in-services for UCESC’s non-public school principals on Occupational Therapy…What Is It?, The 12th Annual Reading Recovery Conference sponsored by Rutgers University on What Does Sensory Integration Dysfunction Look Like In The Classroom? and for The Baby Om Teacher Training on Social Emotional and Sensory Development of Infants. I have also provided many in-services within the school districts I have work for, as well as presenting twice to the LDA of Scotch Plains / Fanwood on Sensory Integration. I am also a co-founder of the Northern-Central NJ Pediatric Special Interest Group where I have presented on yoga.

I enjoy continuing my education by attending frequent workshops and conferences, and currently obtaining my master at Quinnipiac University and share that information with parents and colleagues. In addition, I enjoy working with children of all ages and being involved with their parents.
