District Mission Statement - See Policy 2110

Bedminster Township Public School is a Pre-K-8 school located in Somerset County, New Jersey, with an enrollment of 620, a staff of 66 teachers and a full time Child Study Team. After graduation, our students attend Bernards High School

The administration of this single school district rests with a nine member board, superintendent, principal, supervisor of instruction, school business administrator and director of student services. Collaboration among all stakeholders is at the very core of all the school’s programs and initiatives. This is evident with broad stakeholder input generated from curriculum surveys, a Technology Steering Committee, a Professional Development Committee, Evaluation Committee and the active support from our PTO, who provide enhancements such as the Science Day and the NJ Shakespeare Theatre.

The Bedminster School is dedicated to the education of students by instilling a passion for learning and exploration in a creative, nurturing environment. The Board is firm in its resolve to embrace the shared values of the community and has a strong belief that

  • Every student will be offered a strong, challenging academic program.
  • Students will be prepared for the continuously evolving technological world.
  • Our community is part of a global society, and therefore each child must value diversity and develop self-respect, while demonstrating respect for others.
  • We are a community of learners with the goal of improving student learning.
  • Staff development is integral to teacher effectiveness and strategic school improvement.
  • We embrace the standards set forth by the New Jersey Department of Education.

We collaborate with the community, are flexible, responsive and fiscally responsible.
