Language Arts Literacy helps students develop the abilities to think logically and creatively, express ideas, and understand and participate meaningfully in spoken, written and nonverbal communication. If students learn to read, write, speak, listen, and view critically, strategically, and creatively, and if they learn to use these arts individually and collaboratively, they will have the literacy skills they need to discover personal and shared meaning throughout their lives. Our Language Arts Literacy program will
encourage students to develop a love and appreciation for literature so that they might find personal meaning and fulfillment through written and spoken language. |
