| Election Information | Effective in 2012, annual school district elections will be held on the first Tuesday in November. Registered voters will be asked to choose members of the Board of Education. The vote on the budget is not required so long as the budget proposed in April is not more than 2% higher than the General Fund budget. | Information regarding the District’s proposed budget is discussed at public Board of Education meetings. | Voter Registration | To be eligible to vote: - Residents must be at least 18 years old;
Citizens of the United States; Must have been living in the State and the County for at least 30 days; Must have registered at least 21 days prior to the election.

| Absentee Ballots | In New Jersey, any voter can now vote by mail for any election.
