Mr. Schoch’s Sixth Grade Reading Themes 2010-2011
Each semester we look at literature through a specific theme. Each theme is focused by guiding questions, and features a core novel and read-aloud which are enjoyed by the whole class. Picture books, nonfiction articles, short stories, poetry, and drama selections also enhance and extend the theme.
