Bonjour! Je m’appelle Madame Holzberger. This is my 4th year as part of the Bedminster Township School community and this year I will be teaching 5th - 8th grade French. Learning a new language is an adventure. I look forward to sharing this one with our students.
I am certified to teach French, ESL and Elementary Education and I have taught at all 3 levels (elementary, middle, and high school) during my career. In addition to English and French, I speak German and understand intermediate level Spanish (my attempt at speaking it usually elicits giggles though). I love meeting people from all over the world and I love to travel. I have been lucky to have lived in France, Germany, and England. Each was a unique experience.
A bit about my family: I have 2 children - a son who graduated from Bucknell in 2020 (‘Ray Bucknell - my husband and I both attended too) and a daughter who is starting at Skidmore College this year. We share our home with 2 mischievous cats named Percy and Simon. I enjoy working in the garden, cooking (but not thinking of what to cook for dinner), reading, watching the birds, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing cards with my family (especially cribbage and euchre), and going on long walks.
