Dear new students,

            I am extremely excited to be back at Bedminster School, and to teach fourth grade for my ninth year! Most of all, I can't wait to have YOU in my class. Not only will we be investigating new concepts in math, like division and using fractions, but we're also going to learn strategies for solving more complex word problems. We will be reading LOTS of books - both fiction and nonfiction - as a class, with our friends, and independently. Are you interested in becoming a stronger writer than you already are? I LOVE to teach writing and can't wait to share some new strategies with you. As if this wasn't already enough, you're going to play the role of young scientists and engineers as we explore new science areas like energy, volcanoes, and more. This year you may even choose to join a music program like band, choir, or orchestra. :)

        I hope you are ready for the best school year yet. I know I am! See you September 5th!
