The purpose of the Bedminster Township School Community Service Program is to foster a sense of social responsibility in students by providing them with an opportunity to contribute to their school and local community in meaningful ways. Community service enables young people to make a difference in the lives of others and, at the same time, develop a greater sense of their own worth and competence.
Students may earn community service hours toward the eighth grade graduation requirement beginning at the start of seventh grade. Click on the links below for guidelines regarding Bedminster School community service graduation requirements, time sheet/permission slip and personal log.
The menu on the left side of this page contains information about community service opportunities. Check out the page for Somerset County United Way. Community service opportunities are listed by month and give a detailed explanation about the project and requirements.
The class of 2021 will participate in 30 hours not 40 hours.
