Fall/Winter/Spring Sports Information

WELCOME TO BEDMINSTER SCHOOL ATHLETICS. HOME OF THE BULLDOGS!

All students in grades 6-8 are eligible to participate on school sponsored athletic teams.

Students playing on the school's athletic teams MUST have the necessary physical forms on file in the Health Office.  Please click on the link below to access the Physical Forms and Health History Update found on the health office home page.

Please note starting for Fall 2020 Sports: the Student Athletic Forms, Cardiac, Concussion, and Opioids, which require a parent/guardian sign-off form and the Eye Injury form to be read. These forms, whether personally distributed or electronically uploaded, must be individually signed and returned. One generic signature for all documents is not acceptable

 

Bedminster School Fall Sports Signups for 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Students! Registration and Medical Forms Submission from February 4th - Deadline February 29th.  

Spring Sports are open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Sports offered in the Spring are: Softball, Lacrosse and Baseball. All students must be medically cleared by their physician and school physician prior to the start of tryouts/practices.  Sports Physical Forms, Health Update Questionnaires, along with required parent/ student sign off sheets can be found by clicking here.

Forms must be completed and returned to the Bedminster Sports box in the main office or the Health Office beginning February 4th - Deadline February 29th.

Fall Sports:  Soccer, Field Hockey 

The Nurse’s office will be processing sports physicals during the summer. All students must be medically cleared by their physician and school physician prior to the start of tryouts/practices.  Sports Physical Forms, Health Update Questionnaires, along with required parent/ student sign off sheets can be found by clicking here.

Forms must be completed and returned to the Bedminster Sports box in the main office beginning June 7th - Deadline August 2nd.  

Student’s eligibility for tryouts is determined by a current sport physical on record in the health office before tryouts begin. 

This means that a student has had a physical within 365 days prior to the tryout date. Please call the health office at 908-234- 0768 ext. 225 if you are unsure of your child’s eligibility. Forms can be found on the Nurse’s website, health office or coach.

 

Winter Sports:  Basketball

Check back in the 2019-2020 school year for updates on deadlines for Winter Sports. Deadlines will be determined based on tryout/ 1st practice schedule.

 

Spring Sports:  Baseball, Softball, and Lacrosse

This means that a student will need either: a physical completed within 365 days prior to the tryout date or a Health History Questionnaire completed if the physical was completed more than 90 days prior to the tryout date. In addition the Student Athletic Forms (Cardiac, Concussion, Opioids and Eye Injury) are required each sport season.
