How to submit information for Friday Folders


    The Bedminster Board of Education is committed to improving broad based access to important community messages, events and activities. 

    The Bedminster Board of Education is equally concerned over the ever increasing costs (paper, labor and environmental) to send print information home each week.

    1. Accordingly, we will replace the non-classroom content of Friday Folders with an electronic Friday Folder that can be accessed on by using the Quick Links. All registered users who are subscribed to the Bedminster School News section of the web site will receive an e-mail alert when the weekly Friday Folder is available.

    2. In order to submit information for inclusion in the Friday Folder, all groups, club advisors, and special interest representatives must submit their copy of the flyer, activity, survey or message to  by 12:00 NOON (changed from 4:00 PM) on the Wednesday prior to the end of the week. 

    3. Messages which do not require a flyer can be included as text in the body of the requesting e-mail message.

    4. Documents that are to be distributed as flyers must be sent via e-mail with the document as a Word, PDF or RTF attachment;

    5. Inclusion of the document/s is subject to review and approval by the Superintendent or Principal; approval notification will be delivered to the submitting e-mail address by the Thursday prior to publication.

    6. Flyers promoting private businesses or profit making endeavors will not be posted in the Bedminster Friday Folder.

    7. Registered parents, staff and guests will be able to access the Friday Folder following an e-mail alert from the school. For those who do not have Internet access, there are computers available in the public library, which is open until 9:00 pm Monday-Thursday, and until 5:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and Sunday until 4:00 pm.

    8. Parents requesting non-classroom content sent home in paper form will only receive such upon after approval by the principal.
