Mission Statement
To provide a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that empowers students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
The Bedminster Township School District's mission statement is published in school policy #2110. All school bylaws, policies, and regulations are located under the Board of Education on the Administration tab of this website.
School Vision
Increase student achievement by challenging students to reach their highest potential, providing staff with the knowledge, professional development, resources, and freedom to actualize the vision, while monitoring and measuring student progress.
This will be done by analyzing the academic distance traveled by each child while remaining consistent with the NJ Quality Single Accountability Continuum. Education is a shared responsibility among students, parents, schools, and the community. Our school district is committed to accountability, open communication, and comprehensive support to meet the needs of our students.
Bedminster Township School District believes our:

Goal 1 Student Achievement
Math and English Language Arts (ELA) - provide support for students to reach their highest level of proficiency
Milestones
- Maximize academic performance for all students, utilizing multiple measures to track and enhance progress
- Regularly analyze both in-house and standardized assessment data to better support, meet, and extend personalized learning
- Integrate meaningful writing opportunities across content areas
- Analyze NJSLA data to identify trends and inform writing instruction
- Support staff in embedding document-based questioning (DBQs) within the middle school Social Studies curriculum
- Increase the percentage of students’ achievement across all Performance Levels
Goal 2 Citizenship and Well-being
Positive environment and culture building that enhances well-being and responsibility
Milestones
- Integrate digital citizenship instruction to support ethical, safe, and respectful technology use
- Create district-level and school-level guardrails to implement an AI plan with specific provisions, including procedures that safeguard students and staff
- Equip teachers with professional development and training on AI tools, digital safety, and their appropriate classroom applications, including how to evaluate AI-generated content
- Establish age-appropriate guidelines, responsible use, academic integrity, and critical thinking for students while engaging with AI technologies
- Update and create policies to reflect the evolving role of AI in teaching, learning, and assessment
- Use insights and data to engage families and provide aligned resources at school and home
- Promote school-wide respect, diversity, empathy, inclusivity, and kindness

- Incorporate student presentations into board meetings to celebrate learning and leadership
