Mission Statement

To provide a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that empowers students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. 

The Bedminster Township School District's mission statement is published in Policy #2110. All school bylaws, policies, and regulations are located under the Board of Education on the Administration tab of this website.

School Vision

Increase student achievement by challenging students to reach their highest potential, providing staff with the knowledge, professional development, resources, and freedom to actualize the vision, while monitoring and measuring student progress. 

This will be done by analyzing the academic distance traveled by each child while remaining consistent with the NJ Quality Single Accountability Continuum. Education is a shared responsibility among students, parents, schools, and the community. Our school district is committed to accountability, open communication, and comprehensive support to meet the needs of our students.

Bedminster Township School District believes our:

Goal 1 Student Achievement - Provide instruction to ensure all students reach their individual yearly growth and highest level of proficiency 

Milestone - the board will receive updates three times a year, evaluating growth and achievement:

• Growth Tracking Analysis  - evaluation of student performance trends on in-house benchmarks, state testing, and program data used to identify and close learning gaps
• Growth Targets - progress metrics demonstrating how individual, grade-level, and demographic subgroups are meeting or exceeding growth targets relative to their initial baselines
• Instructional Practices Alignment - updates on adapted teaching strategies that embed information, media, and technology literacies and life and career skills in the curriculum
• Engagement and Critical Thinking - evidence of student engagement and critical and computational thinking achieved through tailored daily instruction and interventions
• Policy and Integrity Oversight - monitoring updates on how the Acceptable Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) policy and best practices support student proficiency, academic integrity, uphold the Student Code of Conduct, and combat plagiarism

Goal 2 Citizenship and Well-being  - Foster a positive, inclusive, and responsible environment and culture that enhances student well-being, personal connection, and ethical digital citizenship 

Milestone - the board will receive progress updates on the following indicators three times per year:

• Personal Connections and Inclusivity - evaluation of initiatives designed to strengthen peer-to-peer and student-to-staff relationships, measuring the growth of a mutually respectful, supportive, and nurturing school climate 
• Digital Citizenship and Responsibility - monitoring updates on the responsible use of technology, focusing on indicators of digital literacy, equity, accessibility, data privacy, and online security for all students
• Staff Empowerment and Future-Ready Tools - evidence of staff exploration and utilization of advanced tools (including AI) to refine lesson plans and streamline tasks, while allowing educators to focus more energy on student engagement and relational development
• Student Transition and Social Empowerment - evaluation of best practices that support students’ social-emotional growth, self-advocacy, and relational development during key milestones from elementary to high school
• Parent Partnerships and Ethical AI Practices - reports on community outreach and resources that empower parents to support ethical AI use at home, fostering student accountability, digital ethics, and healthy social boundaries 

Board Goal(s) - Engagement  

• Family and Community Outreach - evaluation of continued community outreach and communication channels designed to deepen connection, transparency, and ongoing engagement with district families
• Inter-district Relationship Building - progress updates on collaborative efforts to foster stronger organizational relationships, mutual support, and shared engagement between districts
• Strategic Alignment Collaborations - reports on joint administrative and board sessions dedicated to defining, implementing, and monitoring systemic “alignment" between districts
• Student Leadership and Celebration - evidence of student-led presentations embedded into scheduled board meetings to highlight academic learning, civic leadership, and points of pride
• District Promotion and Advocacy - development and monitoring of strategic promotional opportunities and marketing initiatives designed to celebrate and elevate the district’s public achievements
