I am Anne James, a native of New Jersey. I graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Sociology and Anthropology, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Personnel Management. I received my Teacher of the Handicapped Certification at Kean University in Union, New Jersey.
I have 27 years of experience that encompass working as a Special Education Teacher instructing students in language arts/reading, math, science, and social studies at the elementary level as well as middle school and high school levels. I have worked successfully in a variety of educational environments: the resource room, in-class support positions, and the self-contained classroom.
This year I look forward to working with Mrs. Rosnell in third grade, supporting her instruction in reading and writing.
I will also be working with sixth graders in an ELA, In Class Support setting with Mr. Schoch, and also sixth grade Math in an In Class Support setting with Mrs. Solimani.
Lastly, I will be working closely with Mrs. McFarland in second grade as she instructs the students using the Sonday Program.
