If you have any questions, concerns, or need to reach me, please do not hesitate to send in a note with your child, e-mail me at email@example.com, or send me a message on ClassDojo. ClassDojo or e-mail is the fastest and easiest way to reach me since I am able to check it several times daily. Either way, I will gladly respond as soon as possible.
Please notify the school of any absence by calling the main office the morning the absence is to take place. In accordance with school policy, teachers are not able to send work home in advance for a planned absence. In these cases, work can be completed after the child returns to school.
Change in Dismissal:
If, for any reason, your child is going home in a different manner than usual, please send in a note or e-mail both the myself and the reception desk detailing the change. Any correspondence regarding change in dismissal must clearly state the date(s) the change in dismissal will be taking place, your child’s first and last name, as well as the homeroom teacher’s name.
I will be setting aside some time each day for a brief snack in the classroom. This snack should be sent from home and should be healthy and simple (ex. a granola bar, piece of fruit, raw veggies, pretzels, or yogurt). Please avoid a multi-course snack. Also, since we are a nut-free classroom, I ask that you avoid sending in snacks containing nuts. Students may bring a water bottle to drink from during the day, but no juice please. Thank you!
