Character Education in 4T
Character Education is an everyday part of our classroom. Throughout the year, we will focus on The Six Pillars of Character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Our goal is to demonstrate these values on a daily basis both in the classroom and at home. Below is a timeline of the months in which we will focus on each of the six different ethical values as well as some information about each value.
In order to promote the awareness of these values in our classroom, each student will nominate a classmate for the "Caught Being Good" Award on a weekly basis. This honor is awarded to the students who have consistently demonstrated values from The Six Pillars of Character.
