The purpose of the Bedminster Township School Community Service Program is to foster a sense of social responsibility in students by providing them with an opportunity to contribute to their school and the local community in meaningful ways. Community service enables young people to make a difference in the lives of others and, at the same time, develop a greater sense of their own worth and competence. These real life experiences allow them to enhance their civic mindedness, gain confidence and leadership skills and practice speaking skills.
