About to our School

  • District Mission Statement

Bedminster Township Public School is a Pre-K-8 school located in Somerset County, New Jersey, with an enrollment of around 450, a staff of over 60 teachers, and a full-time Child Study Team. After graduation, our students attend Bernards High School

The administration of this single school district rests with a nine-member board: superintendent, principals, school business administrator, and director of student services. Collaboration among all stakeholders is at the very core of all the school’s programs and initiatives. This is evident with broad stakeholder input generated from curriculum surveys, a Technology Committee, a Professional Development Committee (PDC), School Improvement Committee (ScIP), and the active support from our PTO, who provide enhancements such as programs and assemblies.

The Bedminster School is dedicated to the education of students by instilling a passion for learning and exploration in a creative, nurturing environment. The Board is firm in its resolve to embrace the shared values of the community and has a strong belief that

    • Every student will be offered a strong, challenging academic program.

    • Students will be prepared for the continuously evolving technological world.

    • Our community is part of a global society, and therefore each child must value diversity and develop self-respect while demonstrating respect for others.

    • We are a community of learners with the goal of improving student learning.

    • Staff development is integral to teacher effectiveness and strategic school improvement.

    • We embrace the standards set forth by the New Jersey Department of Education/New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS).

We collaborate with the community and are flexible, responsive, and fiscally responsible.
